safa.co ("we") respects the privacy of users of the "Listen & Speak Japanese" series mobile apps (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information.
1. Anonymous usage data we collect
To improve the app and our learning content, the App collects anonymous usage data ─ for example, which features and modes you use (short-form, long-form, dictionary, home), your learning and listening progress, your streak, your display and native language, and onboarding completion. This data is not linked to your identity. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location. We do not use advertising identifiers (no IDFA), and we do not store your IP address (only a coarse country code). No account or sign-in is required.
2. How we use it
Collected usage data is used only to understand which content is used, to improve and expand the app and its learning content, and to diagnose technical issues.
3. No tracking
A random, anonymous ID is generated on your device (with no personal information). Data is sent only to our own servers (Cloudflare) and is never used or combined for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → "Share usage data."
4. Sharing and third parties
Except where required by law, we do not sell or otherwise provide collected usage data to third parties. The App incorporates no third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking SDKs.
5. Advertising
The App displays no advertising.
6. Use by children
Because the App does not collect personally identifiable information, it can be used safely regardless of age.
