These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the "Listen & Speak Japanese" series mobile apps (the "App") provided by safa.co ("we"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Fees
The App is completely free to use. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid content.
2. Advertising and tracking
The App displays no advertising and contains no tracking mechanisms (see the Privacy Policy for details).
3. Intellectual property
All content in the App (audio, text, images, design, logos, etc.) is owned by us or by the relevant rights holders. Copying, redistribution, or modification beyond private personal use is prohibited.
4. Prohibited actions
You may not, in connection with your use of the App:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Extract content from the App for redistribution or sale
- Use the App for commercial purposes (unless separately agreed)
- Act in any way that violates laws or public order
5. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App (except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence).
Learning results vary by individual; the App does not guarantee passing of any specific Japanese language certification.
6. Service changes and termination
We may change, add to, or terminate the App without prior notice. We are not liable for any damages that may result.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as needed. Revisions take effect when posted on this page and we update the "Last updated" date.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
